The Grand Trunk Festival is September 16th, 2023.
Apply and be part of the Grand Trunk Festival outdoor September market, as we celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the West Hillhurst Community Association. Experience the incredible community spirit with fantastic vendors, diverse musical performances, delicious food choices, while basking in the September sunshine.
Vendor Registration
Booth + table info
$175 for a 10’ x 10’ booth (the size of the space can accommodate a 10ft tent). This event will be taking place in
the luscious West Hillhurst Park green space located at 1940 – 6th Avenue NW, to the north of the West Hillhurst
Community Center.
Included in cost
• 8-foot table (no chairs).
• Lots of lead up social media, print and sign promotions to grow your following.
• 2500 attendees!
• Promotion on website, inclduing bio + link to website.
• Discounted content photography packages with SUBSTANCE {details provided upon acceptance}.
Market info
Set up will be Saturday morning prior to market opening (exact times and details will be announced closer to
event date).
• Take down will be after the market ending on Saturday, between 5pm-6:30pm.
Important info
• All vendors are required to have vendor insurance in place for the date of the market.
• Being that it is an outdoor market, it is required that all vendors have tents to protect from sun and/or rain. Tent
weights are mandatory. Upon acceptance, details on tent rentals will be sent out.
• There is no power available at this venue.
• The market will take place rain or shine, so please be prepared for this.
• If we deem the weather to be too dangerous to continue, a new date or refund will be offered (minus $50
registration fee). If the market is a go, and you decide against participating, you will NOT receive a refund.
• Vendor confirmations will be sent out as applications are received, so do not wait to apply, as categories will fill
up.
• We have room for 100 vendors!
Vendor Registration Form
Important facts for vendors:
⦁ Registration is first come, first served and there is no deadline to register. However, it is recommended to register early as to not miss out on the opportunity to participate.
⦁ Vendors must arrive onsite at the time indicated on their set up instructions.
⦁ Power and water are NOT provided to vendors. Generators are not permitted except for food trucks/trailers.
⦁ All vendor tents must have a CAN/ULC-S109 fire retardancy certificate and be weighted with 25 lbs per leg. The weight must be tied to the tent frame. This is an issue of public safety. A city building inspector will ask you to take down your tent if you do not have proper weights for your tent.
⦁ The festival does its best to meet vendor requests, however we do not guarantee specific locations.
⦁ Please note that you will be required to meet all provincial and municipal regulations.

⦁ If you are selling food, you must comply with Alberta Health Services standards and either complete a temporary food establishment vendor notification form or have an AHS mobile permit Number (CGY-000). A form must be completed if you are sampling items or selling pre-packaged goods such as pop or popcorn. Send this completed form to info@grandtrunkfestival.com.
